You will hear from your child's coach by Feb. 22nd When and where are the practices? Coaches normally use practice locations somewhere in the central Round Rock area. We have access to some of the elementary schools and parks. Practices for U6 and above are USUALLY 2 nights per week, either Tuesday/Thursday or Monday/Wednesday, USUALLY not earlier than 5:00 PM. The coaches choose the days and times. There is no way to know this information before teams are formed. What do I have to provide to register my child? A copy of your child's birth certificate. Shin guards are required for ALL age groups and soccer cleats are recommended for all age groups but only required for U12 and above.Your child will also need a soccer ball to take to practices. You will need to buy your child soccer shoes and shinguards too. How are teams formed? RRSA has a base/core team format. This means that once a child is on a team and he/she chooses to stay on that team he/she may do so from SEASON to SEASON. Once a child chooses not to return to that team he/she loses his/her place on that team. In the Under 5 to Under 18 age groups, players are randomly placed onto teams. We try to place the children on teams in the younger age groups by neighborhoods or schools they attend. At times, it's not possible but we try. REQUESTS ARE NOT GUARANTEED.As stated before,we try to place children in the U5-U8 by schools, neighborhoods but that's not always possible. We do try to honor request in the U5-U6 age groups. The mimimum number of 4 items need to be sold per player, if they choose to participate in the fundraiser. If an order for less than the 4 item minimum is turned in, the order will not be processed.Your coach or team manager will pass along this information to your team.
