On the database: Make sure you fill in the information correctly and check your spelling as well as making sure your phone numbers, address, etc. are correct. CORRECT information is vital because we will be sending emails to parents, coaches, asst. coaches when needed. Coaches need correct phone numbers so they can reach you also. Please make sure you enter the information in the database correctly, last season there were a lot of mistakes on the email addresses because they were returned back to me so make sure that information is correct. I sent out several emails in the Fall and if you didn't receive any emails from me chances are your email address was entered wrong

U5 - U8 - $90.00
U9 - U18 - $110.00
Family Fee of 3 or more players - $250.00
Children wanting to register in the Fall must be 4 years old by July 31, 2009 or at least by August 31,2009. If you want to register in the Spring your child must be 4 by January 2010.

SCHOLARSHIPS

We do have scholarships available. We require a scholarship recipient to serve 10 volunteer hoursby helping at field duty, in the concession stand or wherever help is needed during the season. Refund Policy - 100% refund before team formation, 50% refund after team formation unless a team does not have enough players to form. Refunds/Credits will be made three to six weeks after the season starts.

COOKIE DOUGH FUNDRAISER- There's a Mandatory Fundraiser every season.It is the parents/guardians responsibility to pay for their childs registration fees and mandatory fundraising or buy out fees. If you don't wish to participate there's a $25.00 buyout per family. A minimum of 4 items must be sold if a player chooses to participate. If less than the minimum number of orders is turned in for any player, the order will not be processed.

The money raised through the fundraisers will go towards paying for the new concession stand and restrooms we are planning to have built within the near future.:-)

Registration Fee Covers -**The registration fee includes: a uniform which consists of a jersey, pair of shorts and socks, a participation trophy and a team picture and individual picture. It also covers referee fees, insurance costs and administrative fees..

Volunteer Organization - We are a volunteer organization so parents are expected to help with concessions stand or field preparation. Teams will be assigned concession stand duty during the season and parents will be working in the concession stand in 2 1/2 hours increments. You may be asked to come out and help prepare the fields before the season starts.Field Duty will also be scheduled for teams throughout the season and the date your team is assigned to come out will be listed under the schedule link.


How To Register
The register button is on the main web page and we are ready to take registrations..

When you register your player, you will need to have your user id and password since the database is configured so you can register all of your children at one time.If you don't remember your userid and password choose the correct option when registering.The user id and password you create will be used to edit information on any of the children.Please be sure to do this so you can update your information (phone number, email, etc.) You will then use the log-in button to update any of your information.

Your coach and Team Manager can use this system to contact you throughout the season. RRSA will also use this system to send important information via email.

Remember, if you are a NEW coach,asst. coach or team manager you need to register and have a background check done in order to be able to coach or manage a team. You will be able to have your background check done through the database when you use the COACH registration site this site applies to coach,asst. coach or team manager. RETURNING coaches, assistant coaches, team managers, need to re-register every season as well. I can't assign you a team if you aren't in the database for the season.

When To Register
We will put the blue REGISTER button on the website when we are accepting registrations for the Fall 2009 soccer season. Registration Deadline: Midnight on February 1,2010.

Walkup registrations will take place at different locations.Check the website and calendar for dates, locations and times.

YOUR CHILD WILL NOT BE PLACED ON A TEAM IF PAYMENT HAS NOT BEEN MADE. THE ONLY REGISTRATIONS THAT WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER THE REGISTRATION DEADLINE WILL BE THE ONES NEEDED TO FILL THE ROSTER FOR ANY TEAMS NEEDING PLAYERS.

FYI- We will not be mailing out registration forms, registrations will all be done online or at a walkup.


Frequently Asked Questions


What if I do not have a computer or internet access? If you do not have access to a computer you can go to any public library or use a computer at work.
What is RRSA's privacy policy? Your registration information will be kept confidential by RRSA. RRSA will not sell or distribute any registration information to anyone other than the Capital Area Youth Soccer Association (CAYSA). We are required by CAYSA to provide certain player registration information.
Is it safe to pay by credit card over the internet? Yes! All data you share with the online registration is encrypted to protect your personal information as well as your credit card information. As a further protective measure, your credit card information is not retained after your transaction is completed. In your browser, you should see a gold lock at the bottem right of your screen. This indicates that you are accessing a Web Site which is encrypting (protecting) your information.
Can I pay by check or money order? Yes, you can still pay by check or money order but we must receive the check before the deadline, which is February 1,2010 or you can bring it to the walkup registration along with a print out of your registration.
